The Sharpen the Axe program is designed to assist food business entrepreneurs in scaling their food businesses. I.e. growing their current client base, adding more products to their line, introducing e-commerce, selling in grocery stores, opening a restaurant or food truck, etc.

Classes are held for ONE hour every week

Cohort Ends: 

April 11, 2023

Location: Virtual and local; potential 6888 Kitchen members will have in-person requirements in addition to the online course.

    • How to get into grocery stores

    • How to prep for events

    • How to sell food online

    • Business Strategy and Planning

    • Life Planning as a Food Business Owner

    • How to market food products

6888 Kitchen Incubator Eligibility Criteria

Once a business owner has completed the STA program they are now eligible to rent space in the 6888 Kitchen Incubator. Other eligibility criteria include:

  • Food business owner 

  • Business in operation for at least two years 

  • Attend a program orientation /onboarding

  • Complete required in-person/virtual learning sessions
